Kate Callanan

As Studio Director and Head of Interiors for Jackson Teece, Kate brings 17 years of project experience as an Interior Designer both in Australia and overseas. Her work spans a number of project typologies including retail, commercial, multi-residential, education as well as large scale hotel developments.

Graduating from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Built Environment majoring in Interior Design, Kate has a passion for functional and sustainable design. This, teamed with extensive product knowledge and technical detailing skills allows Kate to work towards highly resolved project outcomes. Recently completing her Masters in Project Management, Kate has a strong background in project scheduling, budget control and contract administration.

Kate particularly enjoys working closely with her clients to identify and solve problems, striving to foster long term relationships and produce meaningful interior spaces.
