    Shortlisted IDEA Awards 2019

Nestled amongst the hyper-energetic streets of Shibuya, Tokyo, this 39 storey residential tower provides a welcoming sanctuary from the buzz of chaotic streets below.

After winning an international interior design competition, Jackson Teece took it upon itself to craft a reflection of Japan’s natural heritage right in the heart of the world’s largest metropolis.

Inspired by Japan’s rolling alpine regions, a clean white palette is accentuated with natural materials such as timber, marble, and brushed nickel. Hoping to inspire future residents, this simplicity acts as a canvas – one that challenges those within to make it their own.
