John Gow

John joined Jackson Teece in 2002 as a Senior Project Architect and was promoted to Director and Manager of our Newcastle office in 2007. John has delivered a wide range of major projects in Australia and the United Kingdom at all stages from feasibility studies and concept design, through design development and detail documentation to monitoring site work during construction. John has developed particular expertise in the Aged Care, Health and Residential sectors.

The Aged Care projects and clients include Carrington Care, Anglican Care, Warrigal, Fronditha Care, Uniting, Opal, Regis, Aveo, Ingenia and BUPA. In addition to this specialisation, John has a deep understanding of the Newcastle and Hunter region having worked locally, and further afield,  for over two decades. John is currently overseeing the upgrades of numerous Ambulance Stations and Tafe facilities all over NSW.

John has a strong capability for delivering complex projects on-site and as a result has a detailed knowledge of the practical and contractual aspects of the building process. John is a registered Design and Building Practitioner and the practice’s Quality Assurance manager.
