Jackson Teece has reimagined this significant inner-city residential project as a Build to Rent precinct with an acute focus on Community Creation and urban integration.

The core principle driving the project’s design is the creation of a vibrant and connected community. The design will encompass a program of distinct precincts throughout a series of terraced ground levels and rooftop areas.

These spaces are designed to appeal to different residents at varying times of the day to create movement and utilisation of facilities. The health precinct has been separated from the main program to enhance its identity as a separate facility to achieve a feeling of exclusivity.

Other facilities, such as a co-working area, a creative precinct, rooftop lounges, entertaining spaces, and a rooftop walking loop, all encourage activity and social interaction, fostering community among residents.

An exploded Isometric illustrates the interconnected ground plane.

The balance of raw concrete and lush landscape hero’s subtropical design, utilising “thermal mass”, shade and “transpiration cooling” (the process where plants naturally cool the air through the release of water vapour) will result in a cool microclimate for the residents to enjoy.
