An innovative lightweight material, glass-fibre reinforced concrete (GRC), is extremally malleable and allows for casting of complex shapes while retaining structural integrity. Within Zhengzhou Senior’s Living Community Project, Jackson Teece has utilised this material to create a façade language which references the stone formations of the mountains and valleys of Henan, China.
Jackson Teece acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first place makers and Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work and learn.
We pay our respects to Elders, past and present, and honour their unique knowledge and connection to this Country and culture.
