SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER – BRISBANE

Jackson Teece is a multidisciplinary architectural and interior design studio located in both Sydney and Brisbane – working collaboratively to create bespoke spaces for clients of all shapes and sizes.

We are currently working on a wide range of commercial, and residential projects and are looking for a Senior or Associate Interior Designer who has drive and passion to deliver interesting projects.

Our Team works collaboratively and are friendly and supportive. We encourage creative exploration and offer the opportunity to lead your own projects from start to finish.

We are looking for Designers to work in our Brisbane Office, with a high level of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and an eye for detail. Our work is exciting, challenging and rewarding. We need someone who can hit the ground running and can communicate confidently and effectively.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Work on and contribute to all project phases: Sketch Design, Design Development, Planning and Documentation
Contribute to client briefings, workshops, designs
Ability to multi-task & adhere to agreed timelines
Prepare presentations and communicate designs using InDesign and Adobe Suite
Experience with mood/vision board research, compilation & presentations
Relationship management with colleagues and key trades and suppliers
FF&E design and scheduling
YOU SHOULD HAVE:

Proficiency in Revit
Proficiency in Adobe Suite
5 – 7 years’ post grad experience in similar role
Fluency in the English language, in both verbal and written communication
A high level of technical construction knowledge
A strong work ethic and eye for detail

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER (VISUALISATION) – BRISBANE

Jackson Teece is a multidisciplinary architectural and interior design studio with offices in Sydney and Brisbane – our commitment to the pursuit of quality architecture and its relationship to place and people is our core ethos.

As a design led practice Jackson Teece thrives on teamwork and collaboration, our design processes involve deep consideration of context, use and purpose, the ideal candidate will have a passion for Design, Culture and the built environment and a desire to play a key role in within our Architectural team, working on exciting city shaping developments in South East Queensland, NSW, Japan and China.

We are looking for a talented Architectural Designer with a genuine love for Architecture. You will be working directly with the Director and Lead Architects, this role will involve project design from pre concept through to Design Development and Construction. You will work within the team developing massing and planning, façade development and 3D visualisations.

Our portfolio of projects are diverse providing opportunities to gain experience on a variety of typologies; Large scale mixed use transit orientated developments, multi residential towers, Seniors Living and Aged Care, Social Housing, Hotels, Retail, Commercial and smaller scale projects of varied use.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Work on and contribute to all project phases: Pre Concept, Concept Design, Design Development, Planning and Documentation
Contribute to client briefings, workshops, designs
Ability to multi-task & adhere to agreed timelines
Prepare massing studies and presentations to communicate designs
Develop building program and planning
Design develop façade forms and materiality.
Prepare visualisations for client presentations and Development Applications.

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

5 + years’ post grad experience
Proficiency in Revit (advanced user)
Visualisation experience; Enscape, Lumion or 3Ds Max
Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign)
Fluency in the English language, in both verbal and written communication
A thorough understanding of building composition and construction
A strong work ethic and eye for detail

We are looking for an Architectural Graduate with a passion for Architecture, you will be working directly with the Senior Architects and Director, working within the architectural team, you will be involved in all phases of design and documentation for a number of exciting projects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Be involved through Concept Design, Design Development, Planning and Documentation
Contribute to client briefings, workshops, designs
Ability to multi-task & adhere to agreed timelines
Prepare accurate documentation & presentations to communicate designs
Have an understanding of the NCC and relevant Standards
Be a problem solver, able to absorb information and communicate solutions
Be a flexible team member and keen to learn

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

3 + years’ post grad experience
Proficiency in Revit (intermediate user)
Massing or Visualisation experience is an advantage
Ability to use Adobe Suite
Fluency in the English language, in both verbal and written communication
A thorough understanding of building composition and construction
A strong work ethic and eye for detail
