Georgios Anagnostou

Georgios brings a unique skillset to the practice having started his architectural career as a carpenter and builder in Germany, specialised in timber-engineered construction. Within the practice, he focuses particularly on emerging construction technologies, materiality, and environmentally sustainable design. His knowledge and expertise in sustainable construction methodologies has led to the delivery of one of the largest applications of CLT in a multi-residential development in Australia. He has been involved in the delivery of GreenStar rated, low and zero energy buildings and developments both overseas and in Australia and is committed to continue pushing the boundaries of construction technology and sustainability through design.

 
Georgios previous international experience includes master planning and luxury high-density residential tower developments in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UEA, Education and University projects as well as a luxury residential villa development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His local experience covers mixed-use, multi-residential, retail, and commercial developments as well as healthcare, aged care and childcare projects.
 
Over the recent years, Georgios has been involved in academic research, held guest lectures at University of Technology Sydney and The University of Sydney and has given multiple industry talks on construction technologies and sustainable design.
